Fun Filled Easter Weekend

We decided to make Dad's last official weekend in Houston packed full of fun. Friday we went to the park and I got to ride a Dinosaur-Rarrrrrr! And Slides and wobbly bridge, which was scary at first but then so much fun. Then we went and hung out at my buddy Caleb's and played on his swing set, and played some football.

Then on Saturday we went to the Houston Aquarium. Yeah the fish were really neat, some were even bigger than me. I even touched a star fish, slimmy. I liked the alligator skulls those were cool. For some reason there were tigers there too. I loved watching her prowl around and pounch on some kids that were aggitating her with a lazer pointer. My Mommy yelled at them, but I really wanted the glass to disappear and watch the tiger attack the teens. hehehe. I pointed to every tiger statue and said GRRRRR...

Sunday of course was Easter, and I had jelly beans before church, an easter egg hunt after, more jelly beans, and no nap... thanks jelly beans.

Lunch with a Gecko

Today we spent a good bit of time on the back deck enjoying Houston spring before it turns to summer any week now ;)

In our play we found several gecko's enjoying the nice weather too. Care of a baby shower gift, we caught one, and he/she join us for lunch.

The Gecko made Grant giggle, and Grant made me giggle when he wanted to share his lunch with the reptile. If the reptile wasn't scared out of his mind I'm sure he would have enjoyed the fruit and pasta.

Once lunch was finished we set the Gecko free, and Grant's pants showed the evidence of how much pollen is coating our deck.

2009 Pumpkin Patch

WE went out to a pumpkin patch this weekend. It was a little confusing, because it was also a Christmas Tree farm. I had fun climbing on the pumpkins, chasing tractors, girls, and people who were trying to take my pumpkins away. The weather felt like fall for the first time. I even wore long sleves and didn't sweat. I loved running around in the grass, ate some a couple times, but it was fun.

Trip to the Zoo

Yes, that would be 100% humidity fogging up the camera, as I prepare to conquer the zoo. I had fun running around with my friend Brayden, but I really didn't like the hot sticky stroller.

Apparently the Zoo knew I was coming and put my name up at the Zebra pen. See those zebras are mine, and don't you forget it :)

Mommy and me went into the petting zoo, and I got to brush some goats and sheep. I was sure to let everyone there know where each of the Ba Ba's were. I even got to pet a bunny. I was ready for a nap when we got to the elephants and giraffes, so I'll spend some time over there on my next trip.

Just a trim

Yep that's my mommy coming at me with a weapon of mass distruction. She took away my baby curls!!! Yep you know I look good. I'm all toddler now.

I'm aging well :)

My wirery personality is shinning through, as you can see I've been in the dog house a few times, and I even sport a goe-te (well a milk one at least).
I love playing chase, and even the doggies sneak up and 'chase' me. This walking thing rocks!

First trip to the Beach

Well this Saturday we made our way down to the sandy beaches of Galveston. Got a little sun and played in the sand. There was even a new item on the menu while I was there, sand. The yummy wet kind and the dry gritty kind. Yes it all went in my mouth, and some salt water too. blah...
Mommy and Daddy took me out in the waves, and those splashy crest were funny. Just so spontaneous and surprising, all kinds of fun. hehehehe
