Ten Weeks to Go

Well, we are in the home stretch. About 66 days left before we get to met Mr. Grant. He is keeping up his accrobatics, and some times keeping me up as well.

Grant's face looks much like it will when he's born. He still needs to fill out more to get the characteristic chubby infant cheeks, but he's on his way. He can move his head, open his eyes, and make breathing movements through his open nostrils (although no air comes in) He's about three pounds and nearly 11 inches long (crown to rump).

We had another good appointment on Monday, Grant's heart rate was a strong 148-149 :) once the Doc confinced him to hold still long enough.

Also on Monday I went to my monthly writer's critique group and they were sweet enough to throw me a surprise baby shower. Yummy cake, ice cream, and precious words of encouragment. I felt extremely blessed :)

One more day of Lamaze classes this weekend and then we're down to 9 weeks left.
