Beached Whale Alert ;)

Well the bump can almost be called a basket ball with six weeks to go.

Pretty crazy that he's almost here, and that I'm starting to get my bag and Grant's bag ready for the hospital.

Grant's muscles are maturing along with the rest of his body. He can hold his head up and turn it from side to side. He is practicing his newfound muscle tone by stretching out his arms and kicking his legs quite a bit. Which is fun cause when i touch his outstretched heal he reacts to my touch already. Pretty crazy!

Grant's eyes are now open when he's awake, and closed when sleeping. Most of the lanugo is gone and replaced with a thick coat of vernix.

This week Grant is about 12.8 inches (crown to rump) and weighs nearly five pounds.
