Well we're at the 33 week mark, about seven weeks to go, and I think little Grant has moved into his head stand position to get ready for his big day.

It's been neat to track his activity schedule over the last week, and it's pretty amazing how defined his scedule is already. Of course things might change once he draws his first breath, but it's interesting to see him comfortable in a routine.
This week Grant's senses continue to develop. He can hear us talk to him, and usually jumps around when we read to him. In fact, his world is full of sounds. In addition our voices, he can hear my stomach growling and my lungs taking in air, along with the reassuring vibrations of my heart beating. Also, baby's skin has turned from red to pink and he has started preparing for life outside the womb by storing iron in his liver.
Grant now stretches to around 12 inches (crown to rump) and weighs in at about four pounds, eight ounces. We'll get a more accurate weight in a couple weeks after our last ultrasound :)
