Well...Mr. Grant is here! Born 8-25-08 at 5:54AM!
The last nine days have been a whirlwind of blessing and amazment toward this little bundle of joy. So far I think I'm adjusting well to the new role of Mom. The helping hands of my Mom and Mother-in-law have really helped me adjust and heal quickly.
Definatly tired though. By the time I'm done feeding him I have about 45mins before we have to do it again. Part of that is of my own doing, because of the feeding scedule I have him on. Grant lost almost 10% of his birth weight( some weight loss is expected) which concerned the pediatrician a little bit, so I'm trying to buff him up before his next appointment on the eigth. After that maybe I can come up with a schedule that gives me a little more free time, but I'm sure I'll find something to do with my little bundle in that time too.
He's so fun to watch, especially when it's play time. Play time, he's just over a week old, you ask. Well his play time is mainly just him laying on the couch moving his arms around. We do some tummy time too, before he slips back in to nap time (which is almost all the time, sometimes even when he's eating).
Well I may not be able to write weekly on this blog, but I will try to make some posts to keep you in the know about this precious little one.
