Well... with hurricane Ike filling the entire gulf of Mexico, Justin and I made the executive decision to head to Grandma's house (Dallas) last night. Granted we are in the North side of Houston so our house will mainly get some wind and rain, but with the chance of the power going out and the traffic issues three years ago with Hurricane Rita (which it took us 8hrs to go 50 miles) we are now chilling at GG and Granddad's house.
No one seems to peeved that Grant is making his Dallas debut before Christmas. Apparently his Greatgrandma Gannaway is tickled pink to see our little man, and Auntie Em is pretty excited too. Everyone here had a hard time going to work today and not coming to see Mr. Grant. :)
It's amazing to see and know how much he is loved at such a young age. :) But who could blame them :)
Oh yeah, Doctor update: Grant is now 8lbs. 8 oz and 21inches long which is a gain of two inches and 14oz YAY!! Growin' Baby Boy :)
